Radiation monitoring of Slovenia with Safecast
07 June 2015
Safecast is a global project working to empower people with data, primarily by mapping radiation levels and building a sensor network, enabling people to both contribute and freely use the data collected. Our KORUZA project is like Safecast supported by the Shuttleworth Foundation and the idea has arisen for the Shuttleworth fellows to contribute to global monitoring efforts and take bGeigie nano devices anywhere they go. One of the four special edition devices is now with us in Slovenia and we are now proceeding to traverse the country and create a comprehensive radiation map. See below the scan results so far, all measurements showing only the following link.
